On a hot summer afternoon, I went to my friend Kate’s house. We were going to ride four wheelers, so we got on, put our helmets on, and took off to the woods down the street.
When we got there we spotted a huge hill. I whispered to Kate, “Let’s try it”. Kate pushed the gas and we were speeding up the hill, and that’s when I fell off. When I fell off Kate ran over my foot, the running of the engine died; I sat there SCREAMING.
When we got back to Kate’s house, I hoped to the phone and called my mom. She came and picked me up right away. After my mom came and picked me up I went to the doctor. I had fractured my foot!
I remember it like it was yesterday. The pain, the agony, the gruesome guilt in my friend’s eyes. I have learned my lesson and that is not to fide up big hills going sixty miles an hour.
